IM Certificate Exams

IM1 and IM2 Certification: Exam Routes Explained

IM1 and IM2 use different paths. IM1 can be completed through an established external certificate. IM2 has its own dedicated exam and study platform, administered by S44S.

You can satisfy the IM1 requirement through an established external certificate, or take the IM2 exam directly through S44S's dedicated exam platform. IM1 does not require a separate S44S exam. A Google AI certificate, an IMD.org AI certificate, or a relevant qualification from a higher education institution typically satisfies it. IM2 has its own dedicated exam, taken through a secure exam platform that also hosts the study material needed to prepare.

IM1: choose an established route

IM1 is a basic-level acknowledgment. You do not need a dedicated S44S exam for it. Any of the following typically satisfies the requirement.
